1. Who we are
Promtfolio ("Promtfolio", "we", "us") is a service operated by Merav Shaked, Israel. Contact: hello@promtfolio.com. These Terms govern your access to and use of the Promtfolio website and the related application and services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What the Service does
Promtfolio rebuilds your portfolio as a website you own. You can import it from a portfolio website you already have, from Adobe Portfolio, or from Instagram posts you choose. Looking at the result and editing it by hand are free.
Own your site is a one time payment of $39 per site. It lets you download the whole site as a ZIP (with a setup kit for Claude Code or Codex inside), publish it at promtfolio.com/yourname with your own domain connected for you, and it comes with 50 credits.
AI edits, such as rewriting a project as a case study or restyling the site, use credits. Features may change as the Service develops.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current.
4. Price, payment, refunds, and cancellation
Own your site. A one time payment of $39 per site, including 50 credits. It is not a subscription and does not renew.
Credit packs. One time purchases of $19, $49 or $129. Credits do not expire, and nothing renews.
Payment. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record: Lemon Squeezy sells to you on our behalf, charges your payment method, issues your receipt, and collects and remits applicable taxes.
Refunds. Own your site is refunded in full within 14 days of purchase, as long as the site has not been published at promtfolio.com/yourname and its ZIP has not been downloaded. A credit pack is refunded in full within 14 days if none of its credits have been used. There is no subscription, so there is nothing to cancel. Your rights under the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, and any mandatory rights where you live, are not affected.
5. Your content, the imported portfolio, and asset ownership
You provide the source. You give us a portfolio URL and direct us to import its text and media ("Your Content").
You confirm you have the rights. You represent and warrant that you own or have all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to use, copy, host, and display Your Content through the Service, and that doing so does not infringe any third party's rights.
Stock and third-party media warning. Imported sites often contain stock photography, fonts, client work, or other third-party material licensed only for the original site and not for re-hosting. You are solely responsible for confirming you hold the rights to every imported asset before publishing.
Asset hosting. When you use the Service, it may download and optimize media so it is served from our storage. This is a technical hosting step; it does not transfer to you any rights you did not already hold in that media.
The generated site. The website Promtfolio generates from Your Content is yours to use. The underlying templates, software, and system remain ours.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service for unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or harmful content; to import sites or assets you do not have rights to; to break, overload, scrape, reverse-engineer, or circumvent limits or security of the Service; or to generate spam, malware, or content that violates others' rights. We may rate-limit, suspend, or terminate accounts that abuse the Service.
7. Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, templates, design system, branding, and name and logo, is owned by us. These Terms grant you no rights in our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service per these Terms.
8. AI features and outputs
The Service uses third-party AI models (currently provided by Anthropic) to analyze Your Content and generate text and layout. AI output can be inaccurate or unexpected; you are responsible for reviewing what is published on your site. We do not guarantee any particular result, ranking, or outcome.
9. Custom domains and third-party services
If you connect a domain, you are responsible for owning that domain and its DNS configuration. The Service depends on third-party providers (including Vercel, Supabase, Meta, Anthropic, Lemon Squeezy, and Cloudflare for sites you host yourself) whose availability is outside our control.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. On termination your published sites may be taken down; we may delete Your Content after a reasonable period.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that imported assets are properly licensed.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms, including third-party claims that an imported asset infringed their rights.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If changes are material, we will give reasonable notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
